		   	  Course Description: A college-prep course that provides a detailed introduction to the 
		   		methods and concepts of general biology. Three types of laboratory exercises will be conducted 
		   		in class: module experiments, microscope labs, and 4 dissection labs.  Expect your student to 
		   		spend 3-5 additional hours per week to complete assigned homework and lab write ups.

			    This course is designed for high school students seeking a competitive edge by developing 
				and improving their writing skills. The following topics will be covered: note-taking, story 
				summaries, sentence dress-ups, summarizing references, sentence openers, multiple references 
 				summaries, and writing formal essays.

				A model driven, checklist based writing curriculum that makes writing easy by providing student's 
				topics and helping to make writing easy and fun.

			    An introduction to the basic principles of Spanish grammar, emphasizing 
				pronunciation, oral practice, conversation, and dictation. Also includes simple exercises in 
				vocabulary composition, and easy reading within a cultural framework.

			  Course Description: This course teaches geography and history on a continent by continent basis. The students 
			    learn about the major countries on each continent, as will as the basics of the continent's history, geography 
				and culture.  Drawing information from a wide variety of resources, young explorers dive into the geography, 
				history, religion, current events, key people and cultures of all seven continents.

				topics as the use of integers, equations, inequalities, graphing and applications to problem solving.

			  Course Description: This course is the foundation for high school math courses.  It is the bridge from the concrete 
			    to the abstract study of math. Topics include simplifying expressions, evaluating and solving equations and 
				inequalities, and graphing linear and quadratic functions and relations. Real world applications are presented 
				within the course content and a function's approach is emphasized.

			  Course Description: This class will focus on kicks, punches and combination routines, self-defense and weapons. 
			    Your student will gain poise, confidence, and endurance as they train hard and lean new skills. Martial Arts are 
				a wonderful way for children to learn the discipline, hard work, and patience that it takes to be successful 
				in life.
